Instructions for Configuring Eclipse

Download and run the Eclipse Installer.

Choose Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developers.

Close the 'Welcome' tab.

Quit Eclipse, modify 'eclipse.ini' to add:

--add-opens=java.base/sun.net.www.protocol.jar=ALL-UNNAMED

add software:

http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/12.2.1.10/photon/repository/

add new server runtime... Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.1.0

Eclipse Marketplace... Install JBoss Tools

Disable the "Welcome to Red Hat!" startup page. (Click the gear icon in the upper right.)

Eclipse Marketplace... Install "Oracle WebLogic Server Tools".

Eclipse Settings... Server... Runtime Environments... Add... Oracle WebLogic Server. (Create new local server now, or do it later.)
Define a WebLogic Runtime...
Name: OCCAS-8.1
WebLogic home: /Users/jeff/Oracle/occas-8.1/wlserver
